Description. Orchids in the genus Spathoglottis are evergreen, terrestrial herbs with crowded pseudobulbs just below the surface of the soil and a few large, pleated leaves. The flowering stem emerges from a pseudoblulb and bears medium-sized, colourful flowers.

Caring Tips:
Water: They should be kept moist, especially during the growing season when they need more water. However, make sure not to overwater to avoid root rot. Temperature: Tropical temperatures, and about a minimum of 60 degrees at night. They should generally be kept in the 75 to 90 F range.
