Portulacaria Afra ‘Medio-Picta’ 雅乐之华

Portulacaria afra ‘Medio-Picta’ (Midstripe Rainbow Bush) is an easy-care, drought-tolerant succulent with creamy-white leaf centers and pinkish stems. Thriving in full sun to partial shade (5-6+ hours daily), it requires well-draining cactus/succulent soil and rare watering—only when leaves look deflated. It is not cold-hardy and needs protection from frost.

Light: Needs bright, direct sunlight to maintain its vivid pink and white variegation. Intense afternoon sun, however, can scorch it; bright, filtered light is ideal.

Watering: Water thoroughly only when the soil has dried out completely. Drought-tolerant, but prone to root rot if overwatered. If leaves feel soft or drop, you are likely overwatering.

Soil & Drainage: Use a fast-draining potting mix formulated for cacti and succulents, or mix potting soil with 50% grit/pumice. Always use pots with drainage holes.
