Alocasia Parasol

The Alocasia ‘Parasol’ (commonly known as Alocasia Mandalay) is a compact, sculptural hybrid and natural mutation of Alocasia × amazonica (derived from lines like Alocasia sanderiana / Alocasia ‘Polly’) featuring dark green, arrow-shaped leaves with striking, high-contrast white or pale green veins.

• Light: Bright, indirect light is required. Avoid harsh, direct midday sun, which can scorch the glossy leaves.
• Soil: Needs an ultra-chunky, fast-draining aroid mix (incorporating orchid bark, perlite, and coco peat or peat).
• Watering: Keep the soil consistently and lightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent root rot.
