Rex begonias are widely hybridized and cultivated for their showy foliage. The leaves range widely in color, texture, and size. Most rex begonias grow from a thickened stem structure called a rhizome.

Sunlight : partial shade to indoor
Temperature : place at low temp, sensitive to high heat
Water : maintain soil moist but not soaking wet
Fertiliser : slow release 6 months
