Lush, ovate, green leaves with distinctive markings characterise the Calathea roseopicta ‘Green Goddess’. If you are new to Calathea, an interesting fact is that they belong to the Marantaceae or the prayer-plant family. Their leaves face upwards in the evenings as if they are praying. Hence, the name, prayer plant.
