Subshrubs, 10-40 cm tall, much branched above, densely gray pubescent. Leaves clustered at the top of branches, narrowly spatulate or narrowly oblanceolate, 2-4 cm long, 5-4 mm wide, entire or sometimes 3-5-lobed, obtuse apex, attenuate at base, densely covered with gray pubescent hairs on both sides , the texture is thick.Hibiscus chrysanthemum likes warmth and is afraid of heat. The suitable temperature for growth is 15-30°C, which is relatively cold-resistant and generally resistant to low temperature of -5°C.
