Dieffenbachia seguine ‘Tropic Marianne’ – This fabulous plant has large, waxy, green leaves which are mottled with blotches of white, cream or yellow. Leaves will be reener as they age. Its lower leaves are shed, its stem becomes more evident. Their tolerance of shade makes them popular and common houseplants.

Dieffenbachia grows best with soil that’s not overly moist. Hold off on watering the plant until the top 2 inches of soil are dry, then water thoroughly at the base of the plant. Droopy leaves are usually a sign that the plant needs to be watered.
