A shrubby or small sized tree up to 10 m tall. Leaves are oval to elliptic, measuring up to 10 cm long, glossy green with irregularly white margins. Branches exude milky, latex-like sap when wounded.

This ficus will need a bright location with plenty of indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sun but avoid sun that is too harsh. Keep the plant evenly moist but not soaking with water or it will develop root rot. Keep a consistent watering schedule.
