Common Name – Maple Leaf

Description: The maple leaf is the characteristic leaf of the maple tree. It is the most widely recognized national symbol of Canada. New twigs and leaf stems are also red, and after the flowers fade, reddish-colored fruit takes their place.

Function: Attractive leaves. Grown as a house plant in conservatories and used to provide tropical looking architectural interest in offices.

Care Guide:

Watering: Japanese maple care is easy. Caring for Japanese maples in summer is mainly a matter of providing enough water to prevent stress. Water the tree deeply in the absence of rain. Apply the water to the root zone slowly so that the soil can absorb as much water as possible. Stop when the water begins to run off.

Sunlight: It requires a location with full sun or partial shade

Placement: balcony, window side, outdoor area

⚠️Maple leaves undergo a natural life cycle where they may not remain red at all times. It is typical for maple leaves to transition from red to green and eventually back to red again. However, you can easily remove the green or brown leaves by hand when necessary. The new red leaves tend to grow rapidly, contributing to the tree’s vibrant appearance.
