Oleander (Nerium oleander) is a popular evergreen shrub or small tree belonging to the dogbane family (Apocynaceae).
Sunlight: Plant in full sun (at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily) for the best flower production. Partial shade is tolerated, but leads to fewer blooms and a leggy shape.
Soil: Adaptable to poor, sandy, loamy, or clay soils, provided they are well-draining to prevent root rot.
Watering: Exceptionally drought-tolerant once established. Water regularly during the active growing and blooming season, letting the soil dry out slightly between waterings.
