Pachira, commonly known as the money tree or Malabar chestnut, is a popular tropical plant prized for its braided trunk and glossy green leaves. It’s a broadleaf evergreen with a rounded, spreading canopy, often cultivated as a houseplant or bonsai. In its native habitat, it can grow into a large tree, but as a houseplant, it typically stays smaller, reaching 6-8 feet tall.
To properly care for a Pachira (Money Tree), ensure it receives bright, indirect light, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings, and maintain moderate humidity. Avoid overwatering, as the plant is susceptible to root rot.
