Paederia foetida, commonly known as skunkvine, is a perennial, climbing or trailing vine with a strong, unpleasant odor, especially when crushed. It has opposite, stalked leaves that are typically ovate to lanceolate and pointed at the tip. The flowers are small, white or pale yellow with a reddish or purple throat, and are borne in clusters. The fruit is round, shiny, and brown.

Sunlight:

Paederia foetida prefers full sun to partial shade, ideally receiving unfiltered sunlight for most of the day.

Soil:

Well-draining loamy soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH is best. Adding organic matter can enhance growth.

Watering:

Regular watering is crucial, especially in warmer climates, but ensure the soil partially dries out between waterings to prevent root rot.
