Philodendron Brandtianum Care Philodendron brandtianum plants (Brandi philodendron variety) are easy to grow and are suitable for the warm, non-freezing climates. They are most often grown as indoor plants. Philodendron brandtianum should be planted in a container filled with quality, well-drained potting mix. The container must have at least one drainage hole in the bottom. Place in a warm room where temperatures are between 50 and 95 F. (10-35 C.). This plant is tolerant to most light levels but is happiest in moderate or filtered light. Semi shady areas are fine, but intense sunlight may scorch the leaves.
