Saxifraga stolonifera, commonly known as strawberry begonia or strawberry geranium, is a creeping, evergreen perennial that forms a mat-like ground cover. It’s characterized by its round, heart-shaped leaves with silver veining and reddish undersides, and it spreads via stolons (runners) similar to strawberries. Delicate, white, asymmetrical flowers appear in loose panicles above the foliage in late spring and early summer.
