Tradescantia albiflora albovittata is an easy fast-growing plant that can grow to 2m or more in length and its green leaves striped with white above and toned purple beneath can be as long as 10cm. It needs lots of good light to maintain its variegation. It produces tiny, three-petaled, white flowers in early summer.

Plants like a consistently moist but well-drained soil during the growing season, with reduced watering from fall to late winter. Pinch stems as needed to encourage dense foliage growth. Easily propagated by stem cuttings. Stem cuttings may also be used to create new potted plants.
